Whitminster Inn Wedding.
Jade and Scott had their Whitminster inn wedding on Saturday. I met up with Jade and the girls briefly at her parents home just around the corner from the wedding venue.
I didn’t spend much time with Jade but instead headed to the Whitminster Inn to get some shots of the boys and guests before they headed off to the church. Scott and the boys were already set for the wedding day and were enjoying a pint while they waited.
The church was just a short drive down the lane so I followed the boys there. I took some candid photographs as they greeted the guests and waited for the bride to arrive. Whitminster Church is a lovely village church set in the beautiful Gloucester countryside.
The wedding service was simple and sweet and it was clear the minister knew the family well. After the couple briefly mixed with their wedding guests before we organised a confetti shot then headed back to the Whitminster Inn for the rest of the wedding day.
Back at the Whiltminster Inn.
A short drive back to the wedding venue and I arrived in good time to get some candid photographs before meeting the couple as they arrived. A few photographs with the wedding car then I left the couple to mingle as I photographed the reception room.
There was just enough time to sneak the newly weds away for a few photographs in the grounds. The venue is simple but pretty and makes for a good photography backdrop. I spent about 10 minutes with the couple before they were to be announced in to their guests.
The wedding breakfast & speeches.
The farther of the bride let the speeches and had some fun stories from Jades childhood and adalecent years. Scott followed up with some heart felt words about his new bride.
I took a break as the couple and their guests ate their meal and they had organised a meal for me too, so this was a good opportunity to take some time out and get ready for the evenings festivities.
Once the wedding breakfast was over the couple cut the cake and had a little surprise waiting. The best man had arranged a game or “Mr & Mrs”. The game started out nice and easy and became a little more embarrassing as they progressed through the questions. The couple agreed on most of the questions.
From there they went straight into the their first dance before the guests joined them on the dance floor.
Another fun wedding day and my first Whitminster inn wedding.
